The 3 professors participating in this annual event this year are:
Larissa Tiedens, Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior
Larissa’s research focuses on social hierarchy, power, and the expression of emotions in organizations. Her recent publications include “There’s Power in Anger”, “Power Moves: Complementarity in Submissive and Dominant Non-Verbal Behavior,” and “Dueling Experiences and Dual Ambivalences: She was the 2003 recipient of the Ascendant Scholar award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant professional contributions during the early part of their career.
Jeffrey Zwiebel, Associate Professor of Finance and Economics
Jeff’s research focuses on corporate finance and microeconomics. His publications range from ”Corporate Conservatism and Relative Compensation“ to ”Dynamic Capital Structure Under Managerial Entrenchment“ and ”Herd Behavior in Manager’s Decisions“. Recent research includes work on the topics of persuasion bias and its effect on social opinion, the design of corporate debt covenants, the role of outside resources and political capital in bargaining, and ”hot-hands“ in basketball and other sports.
Charles Bonini, William R. Timken Professor of Management Science, Emeritus Professor Bonini is co-director of the Stanford-NUS Program. His research focuses on applications of management science and statistical procedures in business, especially tools & processes for knowledge discovery in databases He is also a director of Roman Meal Company.
