Although getting rich quickly still remains problematic, there are several proven methods for building wealth over longer periods of time. Dr. Longo will present seven time-tested principles for building wealth over time. Most of these strategies are basic and may be followed by anyone with motivation and discipline.
The emergence of Asia on the world’s economic stage has created some unique opportunities for those living and working in dynamic Asian economies. In short, it is generally easier to build wealth with the backdrop of a booming global economy. Topics that will be addressed include the stock market, real estate, hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital.
John M. Longo, PhD, CFA is Clinical Associate Professor of Finance at the Rutgers Business School and Senior Vice President and Chairman of the seven-person Investment Committee for The MDE Group, a registered investment advisor with $1.6 billion under management. Previously, he was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.
