We are delighted to invite you to our 24th Annual Dinner and 13th Annual Book Prize Awards Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, 28 April 2009.
We are pleased that Mr Teo Ser Luck, Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Community, Development Youth and Sports and at the Ministry of Transport will be our Guest of Honour. He is also the Chairman of Young PAP, the National Youth Council and Advisor to the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee. Mr Teo will discuss how Singaporeans can take a greater role in discussion and policy development for social welfare, transport and other key issues in the country, and how other residents can also become involved in these key issues. He will also share insights on his transition from the private to the public sector.
Prior to becoming MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol, Mr Teo was country manager for DHL and regional vice president for Menlo Worldwide. A graduate of Nanyang Technological University, he is married and has 2 children.
At the end of the evening Mr Teo will present book prizes to the very talented winners of the Stanford Club Book Prize.
The annual dinner will be held in the Gilmour Room at the Singapore Cricket Club at Connaught Drive. Please join us for an enjoyable dinner, great networking and a fascinating discussion. Seats are limited and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
