The Assistant Manager, External Affairs will be responsible for managing the key portfolios of Career Services and Global Student Recruitment for the LKY School.
Career Services
Support the Head of External Affairs in outreach to targeted employers. This would include initiating and developing long term partnerships with multilateral organizations, regional and global foundations, NGOs, and private sector companies.
Collating and posting internships and permanent placements for students.
Organizing career talks, information sessions, career development workshops and alumni networking events.
Student Recruitment
Assist in on the ground marketing to top academic institutions regionally and globally, key Ministries, think-tanks and professional associations to raise visibility for the LKY School and recruit top candidates for the three Masters programs;
Support and implement the school’s media and advertising strategy for key recruitment markets
Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree with 3-7 years of work experience in the field of marketing and communications (preferably within the setting of a political or international organization).
Experience in working closely and independently with high level stakeholders.
Excellent writing, communication, analytical and project management skills.
Bright, motivated, and articulate
